Beauregard William Patterson is passionate about fighting for his clients’ personal, civil, and constitutional rights. As an attorney with the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, he channels his passion into producing quality and cost-effective outcomes for his clients. Beauregard has a general civil litigation practice that is founded on protecting his clients’ rights in a variety of areas including: constitutional separation of powers, deprivation of civil rights, sex discrimination, class actions, equal pay act violations, just cause arbitrations of adverse employment actions, and administrative hearings and appeals at universities in the UW-System.
Beauregard had early and unique experiences that shaped his love of the courtroom. While in law school, he tried his first jury trial. As a clinical law student with UW Law’s Neighborhood Law Clinic, he won a five-day jury trial with the jury granting a full damage award on all the claims. For this verdict, the case was recognized with an honorable mention by the national Clinical Legal Education Association Award for Excellence in a Public Interest Case, and Beauregard received UW Law’s Abner Brodie Award: For Outstanding Achievement in Legal Study and Practical Application of Law. Additionally, Beauregard served a year as law clerk for the UW-Madison Office of Legal Affairs providing him unique insights into dispute resolution with UW campuses.

Beauregard is admitted to the Wisconsin Bar and the U.S. District Court Western District of Wisconsin
